What's Happening

Our thoughts are with our fellow employees, producers and clients who have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey. As a testament to the value of our Texas Region, here is a round-up of earlier business development activities that took place over the summer:

Focusing on referral sources

Kirk Hodgson, Regional Marketing Manager, and Brian Anzellotti, Senior Business Development Manager, partnered with a producer in Houston to co-host an evening at a client’s home. The client invited 16 neighbors for wine, a light dinner and an open discussion about the benefits of working with an independent agent and insuring through a dedicated high net worth carrier. As a result of the event, the producer has completed insurance reviews for seven of the invited couples.

Growing broker relationships

We co-hosted a breakfast for the top 50 realtors in Austin with a Houston-based agency that also has an office in Austin. In Dallas, Kirk and Troy Yoder, Business Development Manager, participated in a co-sponsored golf outing for a producer's top centers of influence and PCG clients. These were great opportunities to increase our visibility and generate leads in the Texas market.

Coming up...

We are joining with our colleagues from Kidnap, Ransom & Extortion to promote a CrisisSolution conference in Houston and Dallas in November. The conference will cover active shooter scenarios, work place violence and kidnap and ransom exposures. Attendees will have the opportunity to earn five hours of CE credits.
