Michael Carosi

Michael, AVP – Underwriting Manager for Private Client Select, began his career with Amica Insurance, and since then has spent the last 13 years with AIG. He’s worked on the carrier (Lexington) and broker side (Risk Specialists Insurance Companies Insurance Agency, Inc/RSCIA) during those 13 years in various underwriting and management roles. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College. Michael enjoys playing dress up with his five-year-old daughter and “hockey” with his one-year-old son (he’s admittedly a better coach than Disney princess).

What was the oddest job you ever had?

During college I worked in the equipment room for the athletic department. Doing the athletes’ laundry was part of my job, which naturally gave me some good material on my teammates.

Petra Ross

Petra has been a Business Development Manager for Canada in our Western Region since 2015. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from The University of British Columbia and began her insurance career as an advanced sales manager at Great-West Life in Vancouver.  She then went on to DAS Legal Expense Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Munch Re, where she launched legal expense insurance in British Columbia.  When not at work, Petra can be found bike riding, skiing or swimming with her husband and two kids.

What was the oddest job you ever had?

I was a sales consultant for an American elevator company. During my training, I visited several elevator shafts and building roofs, including a 50 story skyscraper in Chicago. The job had its ups and downs!

Michael Rudolph

Michael is the Associate Director of Eastern Zone Operations focusing on non-admitted business, including Private Client Select.  He began his career with AIG in 2006, serving as a liaison to partner brokers in an Operations account analyst role.  He has been with the Operations team for the majority of his career, which began shortly after graduating from Marist College. Outside of work, Michael is a long suffering New York Jets fan and loves spending time with his two children.

What was the oddest job you ever had?

I was an accountant at a recycling company. We had an office inside the recycling plant, so I managed accounts during the day and then had to clean out the mouse and fly traps after hours.
